Diary Entry 10
I’ve heard of this monastery too, but seeing this colorful wall in the original was something completely different. I have never seen such creativity and such art down to the finest detail. It is as if the Sistine Chapel had been painted in the brightest colors not only on the inside, but also on the outside.
Entering does not even cost entry. We only have to pay some parking fees directly in front of the entrance. Even if the tourists have already successfully invaded the holy place of the Orthodox Church, the monastery is still inhabited by monks. They roam between the visitors and have their own separate areas.
