Diary Entry
We come to Gori. Another city. The city is best known as the birthplace of Josef Stalin. All criticism of the dictator seems to pass the city by, a shrine and a museum have been built around the house of the former general Lenin and leader of the Soviet Union and at times best friend of Adolf Hitler. Despite the bad taste for idols, this city is very pretty and the residents are very friendly.
The center of the Goris is adorned by an old fortress, which is in ruins, but still in a visitable condition.
We use the chance to shower, do laundry and really fill our stomachs in a restaurant. With loads of Georgian treats, we can easily make it to the limit of pain.
