Language
In Austria, people speak German, but the dialect of Austrian is very different from High German, but is very similar to dialects in Southern German, such as Alemannic and Bavarian.

Austria is in the Euro currency zone. So it’s very practical if you come to Austria from Germany or one of the many other neighboring European countries and can pay there directly in your own currency. If you don’t want to ski, Austria isn’t that expensive.

Travel Diaries
I was in Austria a few times as a child, but I can’t remember it anymore. After that, Austria was always too close for me to travel on my own. Or too far. Only now do I realize how close the country actually is and what beauties it tempts me with.
Be it the incredible culture of the country, the music of the classical period or the architecture of the Baroque or Art Nouveau – Austria inspires me with many things that I value very much. So it’s high time to immerse yourself in this country and see more!
