A relaxed Discovery of the Island of Cyprus
The year 2023 is starting very intensely as I am returning from a month-long trip through South America. I am not going on any major trips this year. What I have planned, however, is to visit my friends Zsolt and Jacky in their new home in Paphos. I combine the invitation to the west of Cyprus with a trip around the island.
This island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea is still divided into two parts by a border. This border runs right through the capital Nicosia and, in addition to the beautiful feeling of Mediterranean idyll, also gives the feeling of tension in the midst of an ongoing cold war.

Finally a trip alone again. It’s only a few days trip to visit my friends in Paphos but I’m trying to get as much out of these days as possible.
